Leslie C. Ricketts graduated from Lehigh in 1922 with a B.S. in mechanical engineering. As an undergraduate, Ricketts participated in football, wrestling and track, and was a member of the Interfraternity Council and the Mechanical Engineering Society. In addition, he was a member of the Theta Xi fraternity.
After 34 years with Worthington Corporation, Ricketts retired as senior group vice president of operations. He then became chairman and chief executive officer of Radiant Lamp, Inc., which manufactures incandescent and mercury vapor lamps. He led the company to its acquisition by North American Philips Corporation. Ricketts passed away in 1983.
